Only 29 thousand miles, THAT sucks. So many classics on here like this 'vette, look at the water marks across the hood.

Wow that sucks. Are they being auctioned off with salvage titles? Can they ever be driven again?

This is for the Marauder:

NJ CERT OF TITLE-SALVAGE FLOOD

I'm sure they could be driven again, probably catch some great deals. Especially the older vehicles with a whopping 2 electrical wires, lol. Newer cars, probably fried some stuff.

I noticed on the link that it shows the ACV at $14,891.00, I wonder where they got that number? Current bid shows $3050.00. That rear bumper cover looks mint. I wonder where the break even point is; price vs stripped down for parts?

Oh yeah? Look at the ACV for this one, zoiks! I'm not even sure a real steel 32 would go for that!

holy cow that MM is mint, I know they say that the saltwater damage could do unbelievable damage over time but for for 4-5k I think it would be way worth it. Clearly the ACV are way over stated.

Would be nice to find some older cars, so little wiring as mentioned, and so easy to take a part and clean someone is going to find some real nice cars cheap.

Not only the ACV, but the repair costs, $48,436 USD

Its a shame to see all those nice cars like that. I wonder how deep under water some of them got? That 32 probably wouldn't be bad just clean it all up really good maybe new engine tranny

Took a ride down the Jersey shore today.----

Devastating.

Pictures cannot do it justice.

Police and port-o-potties every three blocks. Piles of trash all over.

Houses listing sideways; streets torn up; the parking lot where we usually stop and have a coffee (and take a nature break) no longer has a men/women's bath house; it's gone!

We're sitting on the inlet, and a table and a piece of someone's deck....floats by.

Talked to a few divers. They say that there are cars and parts of houses in the bay.

The Seaside Heights boardwalk is gone, the beach is gone, homes along the water, if they are still standing, now have gigantic new dunes to guard against future tides because THERE'S NO MORE BEACH !

And, at least one congreesman who pleaded for hurricane Katrina flood relief voted against flood help for NJ??? WTF??

As a country, we should be ashamed.

How much have we spent to rebuild other countries? Yet, we bicker when a big part of our country needs our help and support.

Pork? Katrina bills had no pork in them, yet they were passed in days, not months.

In my lifetime, the iconic Jersey shore will never be back.

I don't have a house down the Jersey shore, and my big "Jersey shore" thing is five days in August in Wildwood and the Wildwood classic car show in September, but just looking at what is and once was...I could cry.
