I've noticed acouple of times while driving, my temp gauge would steadly go up till I turned my temperature on the EACT to 90 then it would go back to normal temp reading. Anyone know what would cause this to happen? I was starting to think my thermostat is starting to go bad. Does that sound right?

No, the EATC has nothing to do with the engine cooling system.

Sounds like you may have trapped air in the coolling system, try burping it.

What he ^^^^^ said would be the logical first step.

Also check that the radiator fan is working.
Turning the heat on high acts like a secondary radiator and removes heat from the coolant.

Okay, thanks guys. If this works that means I have an internal coolant leak then. Because she doesn't have a puddle under her. Guess I'm checking the oil for that too then. Thanks again.
