Kinda excited cause I missed out of this for my Impala back in the day...after reading about the "brand new" carpet that was for sale for our cars I decided to "phone a friend" at our local Lincoln dealer....This morning I had a brand new, in the bag, FOMOCO carpet delivered for my car! I was told, this is the last one Ford has. Not that I care about it being the last one, I just really like the factory carpet fit. I have used many carpet kits, nothing fits like OEM. Anyways, had to share it with someone who may actually understand it!

Congrats! Did it burn a huge hole in the wallet, or was it a decent price?

I bought another dive train for her last fall. Complete take out from a Caddy...($175 bucks!) had the trans built for 400 or so horse. I also found a complete heads and intake set up from a Vette for $125 at a swap meet! So we are slowly getting a piece together for her.

Nice find. I take it the carpet matches the drapes?

SS looks nice.....What ever u do don`t buy the FLP headers.......they might be the best headers for racing and going fast but you have to unbolt them and move them back a inch or 2 so you can change 1 plug on each side.....ya that sucked...

Thanks for the advise, I am a no header kind of guy when it comes to non-racecars. Headers make no difference down low, they are not worth $$$ in my mind for this application. I have a really nice low mileage set of manifolds that I took off of an Imp back in the day, I am going to delete the cats and use those. 383 cubes, LT4 cam, thats about it. The trans has all of the upgrades done and an S-10 converter for it, leave the stock gearing...I do have some Clear Image exhaust (spin tech mufflers) and a X-member for it, so it should thump pretty good!

That thing looks sweet! I love huge tires on them. No, its a family cruiser...no NO2 or forced induction...just a nice touring car with some grunt!

BIG mistake! ... you could have customized it with some deep shag, and you went with OEM carpet?
