I looked at this car. Pretty nice and tight drives well. Veery dirty, needs tires they are dry rotted. Lots of surface rust. The owner lives at the beach so salt air has caused a good bit of surface rust, paint is descent . I would not pay $15000 for it IMO

You are a great guy (as is everyone on this site) for quickly offering up to help view this car.

Based on the review above, and on my discussions with you... and the photo's I recieved, I think we should pass on this one. BTW Photo's showed ROUGH, rusty, pitted, nasty looking engine compartment (certianly by any demented West Coast standards). I will try and pry these photo's out of my work computer to post them for you all (or maybe email me grantppi@aol if you want them and I can email them straight to you?).

I will send them a PM on Ebay to keep my number after the auction if it doesn't sell... but as per our discussion I am looking for something much much much more pristine than this (so I can no doubt sully it myself).

My offer still stands to take you and Sal to dinner! Let me know where!
