Bright Red print on home page

Is it just me, or is it time to tone down the
big bright red print on the home page? It's been there for 6 weeks now announcing Mville, and doesn't make me feel welcomed at all, let alone interested in the event.

Sorry for the vent, but it looks :argue:, ya know?

I am sorry you do not feel welcome here, due to this announcement.

This is the first complaint related to this announcement that I am aware of since I joined the site in 2004.

I actually have Meduim Red Metallic Glamour,, Cardinal Red,, and Guards Red.

I like all of those. Admittedly, I might like my Dark Blue Pearls more,,, and perhaps my Kona blue more too.

Really little kids at times. Here's mine. I plan on collecting enough fur to send off to Pakistan and have a beautiful rug made! :D
