You could always contact Dennis and see what he recommends to use with his tune and what gap.

I just ordered eight autolite iridiun xp104 & two up stream two down stream motorcraft O2 sensors from rock auto.
Thought it would be a good idea at 187000 miles.

The TR55 is a stock heat range plug, the TR6 is one step colder.

When The Blackbird had a DR chip and 180°, he recommended 2 steps colder. I think at some point later he revised it to 1 step.

Naturally aspirated !! Haha but this thread should also include yout ideas on indexing plugs also. Do you guys do it and what method have you used? Im only aware of putting a little dot on the top and using that as a way to remember where I start at. I have been curious about recommended plugs for the car and not sure that I finf there to be a dramatic difference based on tunes but the plug type and electrode type is really my main concern. If you have a tune do you automatically go one step colder? What about cai? Since a cai doesnt really do too much for the car do you really worry about plugs based on that?

Indexing plugs on these cars doesn't matter. They are hemispherical cylinder heads. The pretty much the only reason to run a colder plug is if you are running boost. Buying spark plugs based on a cold air kit is like getting a different set of socks because of a cold air kit.
