The Crown Vic guys are wanting to set up a meet, which will most likely be the 2nd weekend in April. It will be at the XXX Root Beer in Issaquah. Anyone is welcome to come, as long as you promise to be friendly! :D

If you are from the north end, we will set up a staging area to cruise down as a group as the time grows closer. If you are on the south end...just meet us there, or link up with some south end CV owners, as I know there are some. I will try and set up a staging area for you as well. Hope to see a good turn out!

Sweet. It will be nice to get some Marauders to show up. This should be a lot of fun.

If I can talk the bride into a week-end in Seattle ( i.e . shopping !) we'll be there!

How many MM's do you think you might get ?

01 Interceptor
03-04-2004, 10:40 PM
Well...with you, DirtyDog, hopefully teamrope and Blue03 will chime in. That would be 4 MM's and 2 CVPI's. I know there will be more CV's to show than that, since the last real meet we had I think there were 8 cars.

We'll difinitaly get more Crown Vics to show. There was a lot of interest when we talked about having a meet. Joe is getting rid of his black '97 P73 Vic because he ordered an '04 LX Sport from the factory a couple months back. It should hopefully arrive next week.

I'll pencil it in! Please keep me posted!
Hey are there a bunch of Impala SS's running around up here? I saw two decent looking black ones tonight within 10 minutes of each other. Don't think they were the same one. The second one blew by west bound on the Boeing freeway at 100++... I didn't play... too much traffic at 6 pm and my wife would not have enjoyed it!

01 Interceptor
03-05-2004, 04:45 PM
Yes, there are...and I know some of them! Maybe I'll try and get a friendly meet with the MMs and the SSs at Pacific Raceways...

It wasn't my dad I can guarantee it...he was at work! :D

I'll have to pencile it in for now. I don't have if I have to work that weekend or not.

Ok, I posted about the meet on CVN. Now, here's the tricky part...getting everyone together in their respective staging areas. The guy farthest from the meet is coming from Shelton. He requested to meet anyone from near the Olympia area in Olympia, and go from there. Then we have mchunt coming from Gig Harbor. I figure if teamrope can meet the guy coming through Olympia around 1015(location TBD at this point) and then meet mchunt at the Tacoma Mall around 1045-1100. Then you all could go N on I-5 to the 405 then to 90.

The northend group is simple. Meet at Albertson's(west of I-5) on 128th St or exit 186 @ 1030. We will then head down to meet our Seattle group at the Northgate Mall(NW corner @ the old movie theater) around 1100. We can wait for a bit, take pics...then around 1130 depart for XXX Root Beer.

We will not be parking in the restaurant parking lot, there is simply not enough room. We will do our best to park all in one line, but I can make no guarantees.

I will post more info as it becomes available. Here (http://www.crownvic.net/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Northwest&Number=549042&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1&vc=) is the thread on CVN.

The Tacoma Mall works for me but I can be flexible from the Harbor The Mall is only about 15 or 20 minutes depending on traffic and bridge.

Ok, I will let the guy from Shelton know. His name is Charles by the way. I think you all should meet there around 1100. That should be enough time to get to XXX by noon.

OK, there is a Krispy Kreme at the NE corner of the mall lot..or thereabouts. On the map it's shown within the mall lot. Meet there, as it would be an easy place to find someone.

While you're there enjoy some coffee or a doughnut. :D

That sounds good, the Krispy Kreme is on the I 5 Freeway side of the mall between Toys R us , Movie Theater on the north side and Sears on the south side. If you go to krispykreme.com the have a direct link to a store location map.

What time are you going to be at the Krispy Kreme? I'll just plan on meeting you there. Does that work? Kinda out of the way for me, but hey I get to hook up with some other Marauders, and drive up to my old hometown of Issaquah. I used to live two minutes from XXX Root Beer.

Sorry to hear about Harnish taking a dive on ya. So far L/M & Mazda of Oly has done ok for me. They have replace the front headlight asseblies, the CD changer, and are about to change out one of my rear door windows and the odometer. (All on their dime) I've met the service manager, and he believes in the potential of the dual cam 4.6, but cautioned me that if anything broke that ford wanted to look at, I might be out there if I got too crazy on the mods. The chip, gear change and exhaust mods would be OK though.

I've herd from 3 other sources that there is someone else on Ft Lewis (other than me) with a MM. One of them's a gate guard with a TRUE Impalla SS. I told him to let him know about the site and this weekends meet. Hope to track him down soon.

What a week I will be there at the Tacoma Mall at 10:45 hopefully I will get some time to the clean car. My commuter car has to go into the shop so I had to drive the MM .While I like driving the car problem is cleaning it between tree sap, pollen, eastern Washington dust, pine needles and a trip to Spokane and a stop in Moses Lake I am not sure I will ever get it clean again even if I do get home in time.

Any body know how many MM or CV will show up?

It was awsome finally seeing that many MM's. Johnathan, Dave & Gloria, Curtis, Bruce, Ryan, Bob and Mike it was a pleasure to get to meet you all in person.

Dirtydog, it looks like the rest of us have a lot of Mod catch up to do. The Mrs is finally sold on the full godshead treatment. Thanks for being the first in the sound to do it. The exhaust sounds sweet. I hope to see the street rod one of these days too.

Johnathan, do you feel up to the task of being a regional forum leader? :bows: I think we have enough here in Western Washington to start our own regional forum.

Thanks Teamrope, The Pics look great! It was a perfect spring day in Western Washington and was fun to meet everyone. It was nice to see a 10 panther car turnout. Six is the most MM's in one place at one time I've ever seen.

Thanks to Jonathan for putting it together. Jonathan has my vote to head up Western Washington Forum as well. Hmmm... WWMM sounds good! Happy Easter everyone!!!
