Greetings,
sometime ago somone on this sight used an alternative filter element for there K&N C.A.I.
It was the same as the factory cone filter except it had filter material where the chrome cap is in the front.
Can someone direct me to that tread?
Tried search no help there.

got those specs and spoke to K&N before I made the post.
They don't stock what I need and want big buck for a custom build as well as at least a month to do it.
There was someone on the MM site that had just what I need and was already using it on thier MM.
It wasn't a K&N replacement but another brand that fit.
Thats why I'm trying to find that thread.
Just hope he's still a member or someone else remembers the thread.

It's definitely the S&B, that's what comes with the JLT kit.

I have had the JLT CAI for years, and no chrome cap that I've seen.
You sure about that?

The chrome cap is on the K&N.
FBM provided the info that I needed.
