What is the fuel best way to check fuel pressure & what should it be ?

I'm using a mechanical gauge with analog display.

Mine hoovers around 30 lbs at idle or when holding a steady cruise, will run between 40 and 45 lbs (with spikes to around 60) under load.

I am trying to see if I have a lazy fuel pump figure by checking fuel pressure could be the way.

You can datalog your fp with your Xcal and a laptop too.
