My uncle is moving sometime in March and we are going to help him. So we MIGHT be in the area.

Well it is that time of year again. Zolton and I are working on our annual SSM picnic. Each year we have the picnic in a different location. This year we are looking at central or north central Florida for the picnic. Proposed dates: Saturday, March 23rd or 30th.

Anyone in the area that knows a good location and can assist us with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

A bunch of us from town go to the turkey rod run every year. There is everything going on from car shows to people pouring water on the pavement at almost every light just so cars can do burnouts. At night big money street racing. Its fun for sure.

I have been to the Thanksgiving Turkey Run,
Amazing event. Bring your mad money, the car corral can easily cost you money.
I have several "shoulda bought stories" from there.

My wife has surgery next Wednesday. We'll see. Recovery time is supposed to be 4-6 weeks and I won't leave her unless I know she is OK.

Just as a reminder The picnic is approx 3 weeks away. Please post up ASAP . We need to get a realistic head count ( See post 36 for present head count ) . The food vendor require's at least 1 week min notice on a head count to put a order in. Their is a min amount of people needed to get it caterered. Also alot of the parks won't allow cooking on site due too the dry conditions. So please let us know . Thank you !
