Last night coming to a stop quickily the MM almost stalled! This morning I remote started the MM and it was running really rough! I was kind of worried, poped open the hood and was looking for a loose hose.

Took a wrench and tapped twice on the IAC and the idle returned to purring normal! I just ordered a new IAC from my local Ford Parts counter and it was $111.00 - I've cleaned it before but never replaced it. Figured after a decade it was time.

Just sharing in case anyone else has this issue!

Yes I wanted OEM, no shipping charge, got it in a day. My Ford parts counter guys are really helpful too...

I agree with babbage; for certain parts, OEM is the only way to go.

Why does www.Rockauto (http://www.Rockauto) have two IAC valves listed by motorcraft ?

Don't know.

Just checked their website and 03 & 04 list only 1 Motorcraft, the CX1781. There are 3 parts listed, the Motorcraft CX1781, 1 from Standard & 1 from Airtex.

Don't see 2 MC listed.
