Another member is going to post some pics later today I believe. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek. The car is mechanically tight but needs TLC and I didn't use caps on accident. If you have to have a blue and are in a rush here you go. FYI a couple days ago I threw an offer of 7k if everything checked out. The seller came down to $7500. After the pics my offer is off the table. I don't have the time to put into it.

OK - Here are some pics.

I drove the car and it rides well - Tranny shifts well - Stock tune/gears.

No Heat or AC problems.

The front is 1" lower than mine - I could feel it while I drove. I can't imagine that the owner cut the springs without doing any mods but it was exactly 1" lower.

The engine compartment, as you can see is really rusty - Even the clips on the airbox were rusted - The undercarriage was also rusty.

I didn't smell any mustiness in the car and the carpets/mats looked good so I'm not sure about water damage. The car report that the owner had (is a car dealer) was clean except for rear driver 1/4 repair. The repair looked good and the paint matched.

The rims had no curb rash or pitting and the tires had plenty of tread.

Overall, the body was in good shape and except for the driver's seat issues and the engine compartment.

Heck I sent an email inviting him to our site for a little reality check on the value of our cars. I told him it only has any value to anyone is its blue. We all know if it was any other color it would almost be deemed a parts car. Although I would love to save it, it wouldn't even make sense. He'll wise up I hope for blues sake....

then he wanted me to fly out to see the car in person?

Wow parts car? I looked at that car and also looked at the carfax. It is not a parts car.

It is a one owner unmolested Marauder that had a minor damage repair. It was driven and put away wet. Just the way I drive mine. Not everyone keeps them as Trophy's.

U can always say no thanks and walk away. I did. I think someone would be proud to own her.

Just another note the dealer was nice to me and even asked if I wanted to take it on a test ride. What more could you ask for. He did say it was offered as is.
