I found a 03 Marauder for a 6k but had with 93k miles with a bad cam bearing. Is this car worth it? I am not rich I will be streching to just get the $7k. How hard or how long woulf this take and how much in parts? Or should I just say **** it and upgrade the cams and let the shop do everything ay once?

odds are once it's cracked open you'll find more problems. murphy's law (never did like that guy)
my advice would be if you cant afford worst case scenario expenses don't do it. consider you could spend a couple more grand up front and know what your getting.
i wouldn't go over 4000 myself. too much risk in my opinion

Ok, we've drug this out long enough. There are no cam bearings in these motors. So if there bad cam bearing in that motor you have a big problem.

He may have meant cam journal and the seller told him that the journal can be bored and a cam bearing put in. Which would be true, but, cost prohibitive compared to buying just another head. I believe there are heads for sale on this site too. I would ask what proof there is that a cam jounal is bad and would worry it's more wrong than just that.
