Are you using the stock alignment specs or Carfixer's specs?

Gauge pod clips - you could order them at any ford dealership. I think they are like $2 each and are sold in packs of 2.

You need to use carfixer's specs to get even wear.

No it's not a factory spec. My father went to that big ford car show up in PA and brought back some specs for an alignment he got off a dude with a marauder there. Thanx for the part number for the clips. Dude was tryn hit me in the head with that your gotta buy the whole part stuff.

Did some research and it was a carfixer spec alignment.

That what you need to use.

Print this out and bring it whomever is doing your alignment. It's a good explanation of why to change the factory specs.
Courtesy of Carfixer
The inside edge wear of the front tires is caused by 2 things: negative camber and negative toe (toe out). Caster is not a tire wearing angle. The outside edge wear can be caused by excessive toe in and aggressive cornering.
Factory camber spec is -.5 degrees +or -.75 degrees
Factory toe spec is -.15 degrees +or -.20 degrees
(BTW, this info came from their website which is updated periodically and may differ from previously published material, such as CD's and paper manuals)
That means your alignment could have -1.25 degrees of camber and toe out of -.35 degrees and still be in the "green". This will wipe out the inside edges in <20K miles IMO.
All of the MM's I've aligned (about 10) had at least -1.0 degrees of camber and always toe out of -.10 degrees or more from the factory. That's why almost all MM's you see have excessive inside edge tire wear.
For best tire wear, here is what I use on all MM alignments:
Camber: 0 to -.3 degrees.*
Toe: Zero degrees.
Caster: 5-6.5 degrees positive with .3 degree lead on the right side.
*Camber can affect cornering feel. The more negative camber you have, the better it will handle corners. Most drivers will never feel the difference, especially on the street.

This is the alignment that's on my car now. Camber is 0.0 0.5 -0.5. Caster 6.0 0.4 5.6. Toe -0.48. 0.08. The toe specs were way off from factory. Seems like my rite front tire was worst for wear than the left. I had new tires put on today and gettin the front end aligned in the mornin. I was thinking of jus changing the toe spec and leavin the rest alone since they are good. Should I get all thre re-aligned? Also I was told that the left front camber wouldn't be aligned properly without an aftermarket bolt. They couldn't elaborate on that any further. Anyone else been told that?
