What's a good 60ft time for an n/a Marauder? I'm not interested in FI times.

Click the Timeslips column above and sort by N/A cars.

I cut a 1.795 second 60 ft with 16" drag radials and OEM 3.55 gears (Effective ratio 3:89:1)
That was with the 305 cid engine.

Most low ET N/A cars seem to be in the 1.9 second range.

And the dogs and trained monkeys are in the 2.4-2.5 range like me.

I did a 1.930 with Joe Walsh's 16" drag radials and I believe I had 4.10 gears then for effective ratio of 4.57 (I think). PI 3500 stall on stock 150k mile motor also.

What gears and converters were ya'll running? I assume that most of you with stock engines still have the stock cams.

Crower 'Baja Beast' Cams.
Back when I had the engine built there were few 4V modular aftermarket cams available.
I wanted to keep as much midrange torque as possible with an auto trans/ heavy car.

They put down 340 FT/LBs RWTQ

I'll have to find the cam card that came with them.
Don't know the lobe center on the install.

I'm looking at replacing them with a newer/better set of cams to complement the engine's larger displacement.

What did Barry run on his quick pass? Couldn't find it in the time slips.

• “Cruztaker” sets N/A Marauder 1/4 mile record at 13.270 @ 103.21 (October 2004, Mason-Dixon Dragway, MD) & gets Best Burnout trophy

Yes, it disappeared long ago. Don't have his 60 ft and other times.
