I got back last night at about 6 and did not have time to clean it up. Today I brought it over to the shop just to give it a good look over.

The car is super clean and very well maintained.

Here are a couple of pictures until I get a chance to take some better ones.

It is a '77 Vega out of a museum. It has 74 actual miles on it and the window stickers are still on it.

We are doing a bunch of modifications to it.

By the way, the car is actually metallic brown.

Oh, and if it were a Cosworth, it would be mine! :D

No whitewalls please.

Agreed Mike. It needs redlines for sure or at least to have the whitewalls flipped around.

I am debating what to do for wheels and tires. I could get the Magnums in a 15" (they are 14's on it now) or steelies or ........

Actually it is the 383 cu in. "Road Runner V8."

Because this was a factory air car, it had the less radical cam than was used in hne non-air cars, so it has 5hp less than a non-air car.

Yeah, funny what tires and rims do to a car, the whitewalls make it look like it has Buick rims on it instead of the magnums. just turning the tires around will make a huge difference. 15 in repos will do a lot as well. I change the 14" SSIIs to 15" and it made a HUGE difference in the car

You got a great car there nice grab

An acquaintance of mine just found a cosworth up here recently, thought he said he paid 10k for it, has just over 100 miles on it. Not sure if that is a deal or not.

I would think that it was a pretty decent deal for a rare car like that.
