was up at Derrick's and he has this sitting in the shop. It has a carb'd 302 and a C4 (he got it that way).

And it has Vintage Air!

It is a '59 Ranch Wagon and the patina is perfect!

It is for sale.....

What do you guys think of it?

depends on either price or what you value it to be. I dig station wagons and rarely do you see 2 door wagons. If it runs well or wouldn't take much to tweak it and its a fair price that could make a real cool shop car - especially around town as you go get parts, I'd say it may be worth it for the marketing of your shop alone.

Wasn't this car featured in a car show--the underneath was rebuilt/updated... but the outside was sooooo coool that they decided to leave it that way? They supported/backed all of the "rusty places" but left it patina'd- - Kinda of the ultimate SLEEPER! No one would mess with it.

I can dig it, but I still like your shop logo'd wagon better. I don't know why, I guess I like the combo of looking like a kick-ass Fairlane with the use of a wagon. I have seen an Olds wagon done up to look like a '68 H.O., it was sweet, and another one made to like like a GTO wagon, that was crazy, too. When I have the mun-muns I'll fab an '03-'04 Marauder wagon or El Camino.

I had more pictures of it at one time but deleted from my phone. It has an Olds back fold down door. Body is in good shape. Has no rear facing seat, instead has the cargo compartment. I would be happy to look at it, I'm not an expert like Marty but I live a lot closer to it.

I wish I had the money right now. That would be my goal. Make it a GS wagon and looks like it came off the assembly line that way.


It has the 350 and not 400. I would love to see someone make this thing pretty.
