Vortech Bap

Spliced the pink/black wire for Bap and next to it looks like a bare ground wire. Can I ground to that or should I just attach to metal sidewall of trunk. I'm installing it right behind the amp.

i grounded mine to the car. also changed power from pink/black to white wire after FPCM so computer can set fuel pressure

Oh. Is that by the inertia safety switch? And the way I did it will not work properly?
