Gents,

Have decided to break down and get the Michelin Alpin tires that have been recommended here. The wheels are currently in the garage (mine!!) Have ordered the tires.

Here's the question, are you guys using your chrome lug nuts on the black wheels or did you procure (nice $25 word there) some from someone?

If so, where? I was at the F/LM dealer yesterday and apparently the lug nuts for the GM won't work on the MM, different thread pitch.

So kind fellows and ladies if there be any, HELP!!

KSMM03,

Different thread pitch...thats odd.... The locking wheel nuts from FLM / McGard are the same PN for the MM and GM and CV and so on and on... Me thinks someone was confused when they gave that answer....

Any PepBoys or AutoZone should be able to sell you the plain nuts cheaper than a dealer...just test fit one before the guy with a air gun goes after them....

I just used the ones from the original wheels. My car goes in next Wed. for a new steering wheel, and I am going to see about some kind of center cap for the winter wheels.

Hey, anyone know if an old 1979 Lincoln steely rim would fit on the MM? Have they changed the spacing AGAIN on the five lug? Just curious, don't wanna go pulling rims and jacking up cars if I could KNOW first hand. Thanks!

Oh... BTW, I JUST bought a 1978 Lincoln Town Car off eBay. I have NO CLUE what it looks like, but it's near me and it went for $112,50! Figured the motor was worth that! :D
