Ultra's are a little brighter than ZXE.
ZXE is a whiter light and look like HID to oncoming traffic.
Just personal preference.

Not to sound negative or smart in any way but is this the cheap route of HIDs ....just a brighter buld or are these HIDs just without ballast ?

Good question....

These are not HID bulbs. They may give you slightly more light than the stockers but they can not compare to HIDs.

I post a picture of 2 Marauders side by side, one with HIDs one with upgraded bulbs (not HIDs). You decide........

Sylvania does not claim that are HID but XENON. Click on link in post #1 to read about them and see pictures.
They are a not cheap China/Taiwan bulb. These are made for Sylvania by Osram, a German company that makes them in Germany and USA.

Installed the ZXE's for the headlights the other night. What a difference over stock bulbs! I failed to realize that I had to take the grill off to pull the headlights and broke the grill in the process. I actually kinda like the look, so that's how it will stay until I can find another grill.
