Hi all,

I will be taking my MM in for a custom tune this spring and have been toying around with the idea of getting a +2lb lower pulley. I have a Trilogy with a 3.2 upper pulley, a JLT CAI and a SCT 2600 MAF, oh and 4:10 gears, otherwise stock. With the +2lb lower I should be around... 13-14lb boost I'm thinking?? Just wanted to check what y'all think on how safe that would be. From what I can find opinions very from 10-15lb boost on stock internals. I do plan on doing some drag racing a few times a year.

I'd get a dyno tune by someone who knows Marauders.

Well here in mid-eastern Wisconsin I only know of a few places that even do custom tuning but the speed shop right here in town is supposed to be top notch, I always see nice cars, new and old there and the owners race Ferraris. I think they will do good work.

So any input on whether a 3.2" upper with a +2lb lower would be safe to run?

Anything past 425-450rwhp with stock short block internals you cross the line to borrowed time. regardless of boost amount.

Yep and teh closer you get to that mark with a ragged edge tune the closer you get to :bigcry:

Make the trip to Mr Norms in Manchesney Park right next door to Rockford in Illinois.

Tim Barth is the man. He knows our mod motors and Marauders very very well.

It would be in your best interest to do so, especially living in Wisconsin.

That's where myself along with many other Marauder owners have gone with good results.
