Well,... I was feeling froggy this morning. So, I decided to apply 3 coats of Z-5 Scratch and Swirl remover. (http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=Z-5&Category_Code=Zaino)

Between each coat of Z-5,.. I applied a coat of Z-6 Spray (http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=Z-6&Category_Code=Zaino).

Then I cleaned all the exterior weather stripping and tire with Z-16 Tire Gloss (http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=Z-16&Category_Code=Zaino) and topped it all off with a treatment of Z-10 Leather spray (http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=Z-10&Category_Code=Zaino). I love the smell of that stuff!

Woo-Hoo!

Not to steal any thunder here, but I just did a Crystal Guard finish to my car Friday and am amazed at the results. I never thought I would do one of these so called "finish protector" products because I have always been a wash and wax kind of guy for 25 years.

The end results were fantastic even though the car was only weeks old when applied. The car has an almost "glassy" appreance to it and have been told it will only increase as the process bonds more to the paint in the next few days. The final stage of application is an actual liquid glass process. Crystal Guard is not cheap (about 300 bucks), but worth it and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I'm throwing away my orbital buffer and going to the beach instead!

Nice job Tom.

As I sit here this evening stinking of Zaino hands....awaiting coat 5 to dry, I did the whole kit and kabootle this afternoon.

The only difference is that it's sunny at your place and I have had to contend with rain...then clouds...then sun...then snow...then clouds...then sleet...then sun...then clouds...then rain! Now it holds at 42 degrees and I have no idea what's next!

Thank god for the barn and 26% humidity...this last coat might come off without hazing.

Thanks Guys,... :D
Actually Barry,.. I had to do it in my garage with the door closed. The sun was pointed right at my MM. The light in my garage sucks! so,.. I took the lamps from the living room and removed the shades! You should've seen the look on my wife's face as I took them. She was about to ask me what I was doing, bit I guess she deceided she didn't want to know.

Fin- Thanks for the offer. Yer a hell of a guy!

Barry, I think this poem best describes your weather:
First it blew, Then it snew,
Then it friz, Then it thew,
Then there came a shower of rain,
Then it friz and thew again.
By the way, the folks at Propwash send a big "Hello", Maury
