I know I've seen this car before on here. I've seen that red pinstripe & the Illinois plates. kind of a high price IMO but for the shape it's in & the work thats been done to it, it's definitely warranted. someone should pick this up, no doubt

well technically I wasn't "bashing" the price, just offered my own opinion.
however, that being said, this car was not posted for sale on the mm.net site, so honestly I feel it's fair game :p

Didn't this pee-on have the car priced in the $40,000's for a long time?
Beautiful car otherwise.

Guspech, that's the same one. It was around 40k, now it's reduced to 27k to sell faster.....
It's a nice one, but I don't see that happening unless another 5-7k is taken off.

Very tasteful..... and a good price for the mods that are done, in addition to being super low miles. If I wanted another black car, I would consider that, probably 15-20k easy in mods.

Looking at the posts and people adding their .02 about the price being too high, if your going to buy one of these cars and mod it, your going to ay more than that, IF you can find a Trilogy kit.
Low mile Marauders are bring 20k+, 27k is not a stretch, man up and put on your big boy pants. :flamer: Ain't nothing free.:shake:

How true. I am closing the gap on mod price exceeding purchase price..

I thought it was. Sure is a very nicely modded Merc. Would I spend 27k for. I most likely would. I payed $17,000+\- for my Merc in 2009 with 24,000 miles. I've spent quite a but if $$$$$ on the Wilwoods, suspensions mods, tires, 4.10 gears, and the Eaton swap and dyno tune. So I know I'm not too far off from around $25,000+\-. And I still want to buy an 03-04 Cobra block, port the Eaton or buy a 2.3 Whipple supercharger.
I'd say someone should buy this car now!!

I paid 21k for mine in 08 with 16k on it, got 9k more than that in the motor/blower/headers and supporting engine mods, then there's the interior, transmission, rear end, brakes etc............. It adds up fast.

You don't ever get your money back dollar-for-dollar on custom stuff. Nobody ever wants to accept that, but that's the way it is.
"Back in the day," we used to say that if you took a $2,000 car, and put $5,000 into it, what you had was the best-running $3,000 dollar car on the street.
You do custom modifications to your own tastes, for your own enjoyment.

Well I paid just under $10K for mine in '10, have maybe another $750 in it and only 3Kmi added, unless someone antes up $10.5K, I'll keep it...
Once spring hits for good I'm gonna stick it on Craigslist, maybe it'll be all donked out next time I see it...
