My son-in-law just bought a new custom ordered (waited 6 weeks ) Ford Focus . The dealer conned them into a generic warranty and they want to switch to a genuine Ford ESP 100,000/6 warrantee . Can they buy it from someone else ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have had ESP since they were offered and am about $ 7000 net gain over the years. They want the 100,000/6 warrantee. They travel a lot and need an all dealer honored policy. I hope we can do this---they have the cash to buy from anyone---just want to be sure it's a genuine Ford factory warrantee.
