looking to install a 180 T-stat does does ford make one? is there an aftermarket out there lmk thanks

This is a must whenever the cooling system is opened (other than removing the reservoir cap).

im a ford tech and own a air lift which will take care of any air in the system, i plan on doing the cooler t-stat proably with 180, I just think 170 is to cool for wisconsin weather. also im pulling the crossover tube to clean them and re paint due to paint issues

If you have a cooler thermostat you should be able to run more timing and use a colder heat range spark plug.

That would be a decision your tuner should make.

If you've not had a performance tune done to the car (i.e advanced the timing) no need to even change the thermostat.
