Hi, at my Marauder, i have a very bad reception. Now, i installed a cockpit cam and while recording, the reception is going poorer, seems to be a camera problem.
But now my question: how can i get a better reception? with a new external antenna or what you done?

Changed the head unit to an aftermarket one. Much better reception.

I don't understand why a camera would cause worse radio reception?

i use a navigation system from Lincoln. I´m ready for change, but which one? very important for me: the steering control must be present after changing

don´t understand too. in battery mode, (it doesn't matter which cable is connected, cigar lighter or direct in camera (one of both)) everything works fine, with a good reception, but with power from car battery the reception is bad.

I just upgraded from a Pioneer AVIC-D2 to a Pioneer AVIC-X940BT. I also installed a Kenwood double din unit for a member.

This company has interface units f\so you can use the steering wheel controls with aftermarket headunits.

Clean the battery terminals and all the grounds.
