Replacement Bulb for Gauges

Does anyone know if there is replacement bulbs for the stock gauges by the shifter? Also where can I get them and how do I remove the stock gauges?

The stock bulb is a 168 - 194 bulb. I'd recommend replacing it with a green LED bulb (which I can supply, PM me). The LEDs last longer, use less energy and give off almost no heat.

To remove the center pod, put the gearshift in "D", grasp the sides of the pod and pull towards you. When loose rotate the bottom of the pod towards you and it should clear the console. Make sure the retaining clips are still in place on the console.

Its pretty easy, you can get a replacement bulb for a few bucks.

I got the bulbs from fastblackmerc today and had them installed in a matter of minutes. Almost makes me happy the 'oil pressure' gauge bulb went out. Thanks again Jim !!

Now I think it's time to consider upgrading to a REAL oil pressure gauge.....

I was wondering about this too...a lot of you folks have replaced the oem gauges...are you still putting in auto meters...which ones

These Autometer gauges are close to the originals.

Replacement Gauges – Autometer (2 1/16)
