So i go by after work today and car is loping and he says it has a vacuum leak, i can hear air but i hear it coming the valve covers i pull a line he has connected to the drivers side valve cover that is going to what i circle in the picture on the blower and everything idles smooth again. Is this supposed to be capped or drawing from the valve cover (Drivers side)?

It does go to the drivers side. Was it collapsed? It will collapse unless you use a hard line. Also, is your passenger side hole going to your CAI/zip tube?

Bob, it is a soft line and was collapsed after i pulled it and had my finger stopping the draw on it. it was drawing so much that it was pulling through the valve covers. the other is connected to the CAI

That is your problem. I custom bent a hard line out of EMT conduit to clear the wiper cowl and that solved the issue. Also, you switched the PCV to the drivers side right?

Just use rubber 90's on both ends of the hard line and you are golden.

Bob, let me clarify by saying the current line is not collapsing while the car is running. while connected though it throws a code for a harmonic balancer though and runs lopy. once you pull the line and stop the draw it idles smooth and the code clears out.

Start by making sure you followed this info to a tee, then go from there.
