Doubtful that it's @ 16lbs of boost with a stock Trilogy pulley. It's a low mile car, with a S/C, big brakes and other supporting mods. The price seems fair, fair enough I talked it over with the wife as a consideration for a second Marauder.

So, what are 12k mile Marauders bringing these days, bone stock? Then add up the mods.........

Sounds like he may have put different pulleys on it: "... Billet Aluminum Pulley System With 16 lbs Of Boost...".

Gotta agree, low mileage car, looks clean. Might be a tad spendy, but a guy can always negotiate.

Like I said in a previous post about this, I have 3k more than his asking in my motor. Spendy.......maybe, maybe not, would need to see the car in person to make a better judgement call, for all we know, it may very well have a forged motor in it, if I get a chance today, I'll call the guy and get the particulars.

And his price is a starting point, money talks, bull#$it runs a marathon.

$17,000/$20,000! Just my guess, My GN is worth $75,000 with the low mileage and all the years of work, and I'd sell for that! Oh I thought about OBO after the $75,000 but might get a good offer! Sooooooooo not gonna do that!

Talked with the fella selling it for the owner, the pulley system is what came with the Trilogy kit, and I know that only makes 9lbs of boost. The motor is stock, the mods are listed.

He did tell me that the owner is elderly, and babies the car. A quick OASIS turned up nothing service wise, I would expect some dried out seals and what not.

If some one wants the VIN to do a carfax on, PM me, I'll get it to you. I can tell you it was built 6-25-2002 and the in service date is 12-21-2002.

::confused: Wonder where he came up with the stuff about the "billet flow pulley system and the big boost?

Yeah, 9 lbs with a stock pulley set up is right.

Still sounds like a nice car, but as you say, could be some issues with seals, etc. and as an early 300A build, prolly has soft axles.

if i had to money to just blow i would buy this MARAUDER in a heart beat only 12k miles and already has headers/ full exhaust

has all the good on it already and already has the no more found trilogy superchargers on it WOWW

NOT to big of a fan of the red striping around but OVERALL love itttt

i mean really this might be in the top 10 for lowest milage marauder in the STATES period

IN MY OPINION 20k-25k would be a steal for this super clean already boosted 12,000 miles rare car

Its nothing new what drives car prices up or down.... Supply/Demand/ and informed opinion........ What is new and refreshing is the membership finally understanding that they don't need to be so da#$ authoritative on pricing.........

Let the buyer and seller come together at what ever price they settle on.... It's their deal......

Sure if someone asks, trade a pm or 3 with an opinion, but don't shoot a seller of a Marauder in the azz by making your opinion public (unless its extremely complimentary :D).

be careful of what you wish, if you put your car out there for a price that you didn't think about on a whim and it sells in 10 minutes, maybe it shoulda been thought about more. Gotta start somewhere because everybody most likely is gonna try to talk you down. I think price on it is high but it is worth what you or I or the rest of the world is willing to pay.

Back to subject.....
If somebody is really interested in that car maybe someone can come up with info on the owner and approach him with an offer,or barring that clue him in to advertising it here himself to "Keep It in The Family" so to speak.
Not everybody, hard as that is to fathom,is interested in this site though some are satisfied to merely be lurkers for whatever reason. I've met several people with Marauders who knew about MM.net or I clued in about it who said they weren't interested in any site or admitted to being lurkers but didn't want to be active participants.
If the VIN can be obtained I believe the owner can be traced legitimately through the Il. Sec'y. of State.

Hi. I'm 27, say what I want, do what I want, whenever I want and am establishing a carrier. Yet, doing what you want and saying is considered "rebellious" to many on this site.

Back to the topic of the car, I am glad it has 9psi on those injectors. I guess it was a poorly written ad?

Just For fun, my bank would give me $19,000 after I explained to them the collectibility and specifics of the car.

I've seen this car for sale everywhere... For the last year... Prices jumping all over. While the red stripe takes a little getting used to (I'd prefer no stipe or maybe a ghostly med grey), the hood with the ghost flames... they dont seem to go together... and combined with the Excess badgeing on the rear... Well Dano, let's get some raised white walls lettered tires, and maybe those metal curb finders too...

Of course, to each his/her own... I'd take the blackout debagded version with no external indication of the monster lurking within...

And I really liked the comments regarding the mustang comparison on pricing. I hadn't really thought about it that way.

Ya know, I paid just under $13,000 for my MM in November of 2007. Since then, I probably have spent around $15,000 in repairs and mods on the car. Probably more. So around $28,000 for a car that, if totaled, the insurance company would give me what, maybe $7500? (140,000 miles) There's a price to be paid for driving a car over the course of 5 years, and I never plan on selling it, so I will continue to put as many mods on it as I can, regardless of the cost and the cars value.

Value is in the eye of the beholder.
