This sounds like a pretty good idea to me........

Hmmmm very interesting. Did I miss where they explained why to not use it in anything but aluminum engines?

Actually I originally saw and heard about this on that show where the two Brits buy interesting used cars, fix them up some and then flip them. They used it on a Triumph TR-6 which were known for running somewhat hot. They converted the head for running unleaded fuel remarking that the unlead conversion would increase cooling problems so they went to the waterless coolant which they said cured that problem.
I'm going to do more research on it as I may convert the 94 5.0 F150 I'm buying to use it also.I'll be using the truck in the desert and also up here at the 5000" + altitude where I live.I've seen temps drop to 6 degrees F here this winter and have been down to Surprise last year with 112 F temps.

Yeah cause I have a '75 351w that enjoys running hot that I was thinking about trying it on but its not aluminum and am just kinda interested in why they kept specifying aluminum engines

I don't think big rig engines are aluminum.

I don't believe they said to use it only in aluminum engines. I think it is good to go in any water-cooled engine. I especially like the non-toxic aspect. The Dusenberg supposedly has an iron block, with aluminum add-ons (manifold, water pump, etc) (see: http://www.ehow.com/list_7471365_duesenberg-engine-specifications.html )

Yeah I don't think they did either. Its just they kept mentioning when you put it in an aluminum engine and the plate with holes in it he said was aluminum. But very interesting I may have to try this stuff now
