Having some issues with my Marauder seats if anyone can help.
1st problem.
Both driver and passenger seats recline if force is applied to the seatback. If you're sitting in the seat and push back you recline. The drivers seat reclines to the right side. The left side is pretty strong. I think it may be a loose bolt on the right side since I switched the seat rails out. Can someone confirm?
2nd.
I didn't install the lumbar support wiring since my previous seats didn't have it. But I noticed the seats were taken out with the lumbar at full. How do I let the air out of the system?

I fixed the lumbar issue but still can't get the seats to not stop reclining.

Just a thought here....make sure all your bolts are in and lined up and tight....could be that the seat is uneven and the motor is ajared with the gearing, essentially causing too much torque for the motor to handle by itself.

Sounds like the motor's are weak? Could be shot and need to be replaced. Do you have a bodyshop that can check it out?

I don't think it's the motor though.
When you pull the seat back into the upright position and use the door switch to recline it, it works. The motor will pull the seat back up as well.
I tightened this bolt as much as I could even with a breaker bar and it will move but not as much. I can still push the seatback into a recline.

An installer at work said maybe I put washers on the bolts? I swapped out the seat frames from my 05 to these seats so I know the lower parts are good.

That's hilarious. Seats are getting a new life in a newer vehicle.
All joking aside, anyone have an idea?
