These time "cards" are from early '70's. Interesting things to note: only one car, no RT, no 60 foot, no 330 foot, no 1/8 mile, no 1000 foot, no margin of victory. But there is a lot of other info such as car # and "win" or "lose". The car was a 1968 AMX 390 four speed with go package.

9" slicks, 800 holley double pumper, headers (don't remember brand). lunati cam (don't remerber spects) edelbrock highrise, Chrysler 440 valves, 456 gears, built in accordance with "Performance American Style". It was fun and like the Marauder it was different and got a lot of attention. When I got back into racing with the Marauder all I wanted was for the Marauder to be as fast as the AMX. Yes sir.

Yes they were fun. No seat belts, helmets, scattershields. No waterboxes. No "test and tune", every meet had class competitions and bracket competitions. I ran "heavy Eliminator" And no motorcycles.
