Hey Bill!

Name a price, as we don't do the bidding wars/eBay type sales here.

;)

Good luck!

Mike.

Sorry. I didn't put a price because of the what I think is extensive work need for the resto. Just wanted to see if anyone would be willing to take on the job first. I think the price is secondary. It's my Mother-in-laws car I believe the price she'd like to have is @$2000 OBO, which would include extra parts.

This is what I've been told:

It was bought new in 66 has been in the same hands ever since. She is a dark blue exterior with a white interior and top. The motor has been replaced so the numbers don't match. However, a 390 went back in. It ran like ascolded dog until it was parked @8yrs ago. And has been out and running @2-3 yrs ago.

What I've seen:
THe car is ruff. The interior dash looks to me to be in decent shape once the dirty and grime is cleaned off. BUt still needing a resto. Interior seats etc is original but after many years of hot n cold I would guess it is ready to crumble. I didn't test this since I didn't want to get hit. The top is gone but intact. It has been covered with at least a cover and when I entered the picture I told her to cover it with a tarp also. I don't have oic of the underside but can get if wanted. I've seen some pic and what it looks to me is the framing of the car is partially compromised. There was some frame members about 50% gone. I was told that the ones that are still there would crumble to the touch. Not knowing alot, and correct me if I misspeak. But I would think that you could geta camparible size framed car and with some modding place this car on the frame there by haveing a "modern" suspension, brakes, ETC. As for the extra parts, I know the entire top of her garage is parts for the Fairlane. They are in the process of bringing them down. I can probably get a rough list if anyone is interested. The car is for sale as a whole, but she is desparately hoping for someone will take her and do a resto instead of parting out. I'm sure I've left a stuff out that I know. Thanks for your patience. If there are anything else, ask, and I'l either answer or find out. The car is about 10 minutes away. So any specific pics let me know and I should be able to get them.

Here are some more pics. As a note, the trim on this car is intact. There is nothing wron with the grille. My brother had a '67 when I was a kid and had a fun ol' time trying to find a grille that didn't have anything wrong with it. The car is @ 90% whole.

Yes, I agree. She has pics it her at Daquan(not sure that's how you spell it) and other car shows and the blue and white combo stands out. I'd just hate to see this car be parted or crushed. If I could get away with it I'd take the fire breathing 390 and drop it in my '79 Mark.
