Dealer rebuilding the '04 and cannot locate the Differential Aseembly #3r3z4026aa. Anyone have a supplier who has one. Aparently, the MM rearends takes a complete unit and is not one they rebuild. If Ford part not available, what do you use and who has it. Thanks, Randy

The rear end is rebuild able. Whomever said it wasn't doesn't know what they are talking about.
If it's too far gone to be rebuilt then one out of a recycle yard can be rebuilt.

Mo's gets alot of rear end practice:P They see all kinds of issues rarely seen by other shops:o
They will take good care of your rear end. :D And other things if you let em....... Seriously. Mo's is a top notch shop. Doubt you have an issue they can't solve/fix.
Good luck:beer:

Good Morning. The shop is telling me that they would like to replace the entire unit but can finish if they can find the spider gears (all 4). Would rather replace the entire unit with a suggested replacement. Seems like the Cobra components are the way to go. Does anyone have the list of parts that I can give my delear for direct replacement. Tired of driving the Mazda 3 rental. Thanks!!

I bought a Ford Racing 28-spline complete unit, all that was needed was the bearings press on to it.
Part number is M4204F288.
