Some friendly advice, please replace the starter in that thing before you sell it. No one wants to pay top dollar for a car that doesn't run. Same goes for pics. Get it running, detail it and take some good pics. That's top dollar for a Marauder

How about this, at least list the mileage
If it has 285k on it I'll bid $8
Hard to give an offer without details
At the same time hard to make a serious offer without having an idea of what ballpark you want to be in

We get that it's painful to sell, it's also painful trying to figure out what you want for it.
How hard is it to set a price? You can still negotiate, it's not Rocket science.
So I can help, sign the title over to me and I'll sell it, I'll just keep the bumper and 10% for my troubles, and the floor mats
Seriously man, it sounds like a decent ride, so take whatever your bottom line is, pad it and set a price, you just might get it.
Until then, I'll offer $3000, a copy of Mike Tyson's Punch out, and an autographed picture of me

Big plus one on that
You won't get anywhere near what you want for the car if the buyer can't drive it home.

Selling just because of a $90 starter? My SB runs great and the starter is fine....ill trade you and get a new starter, bring it and put it on myself and drive home. If its really your baby, then FIX THE DAMN THING!?!

I think there is a LOT more to the story. Not on the car, but the reasoning for the sale.

We are messing with you because yes you've been around, but maybe not so much in the last year. The mods insist that anything for sale has to have a price to keep the ebay BS out of here.
Seriously, you can't really be all that interested in selling without a proper listing along with as many pics as you can. Did someone verify it was the starter? Why risk thousands off the sale over that?
Good luck with sale.

The best offer so far is $6237.19 by Spectragod. See post 21 @ 8:25 PM 3-5-13.
No further bids above that for ten hours.

James are you seeing this? Your were wanting another Marauder, I'll ride up with you and we can change the starter and bring it home.

Wow, I read it as the car was $21K lol.
Seriously, you're killing the amount of money you'll sell that car for if it doesn't start and run. Buy a cheap AutoZone starter at least..

John I have a spare starter which ill gladly hand over to you to get you up and running.
He's not sure of the value of the car so he's asking someone who is serious in purchasing the car to make a offer. Instead more thread derailing and more ********. Business as usual.

Unless it's some ultra rare/desirable model, nobody is going to pay the value of a vehicle that isn't operable, doesn't happen...

Paul you must admit that with no price listed and bad starter who is going to jump on it? Right lowball price only. Fix the car so it run and post some picts and list a selling price. Why is so hard for this member to do?

If I was in the market for one, I would know serious value and have no problem with it needing a $100 starter. I would swap it on the ground and drive it home. He's frustrated and has been around a while to know the past history of posting a price and get 10 responses how his asking price is too high and the rest of the BS that follows.
Seeing how clean this car is in person, with the blower and low mileage, the low offers should be in the $15K area.

Still though, we have gone through this eBay stuff so many times that a seasoned member should also know what they want for the car and shouldn't be surprised when no price is listed, no pics are posted that he gets offers of $8 or other offers below what he wants
If he wants a dollar amount I would say stop the shenanigans and post it
Otherwise the high bid is 6200 and change, when does the auction end?

I am quite sure it is worth more than I offered, but, without a idea of the condition or a VIN #, it's really hard to make an offer that is going to be realistic to what you are looking for.
It never fails that everyone wants you to give it away, but when it's their own, it's worth a mint. Personally, I wouldn't sell mine for 40k, I could not replace it for that, is it worth that, no way, not book price. I would take Paul up on his offer for the starter, I might even have a spare if that falls through.
You've done a lot of work to your MM it appears, it has low miles and for the cost of a starter, I would try to hang onto it. I know we were hard on you with offers, but really, you should fix and keep the car, I have never had another car that makes me feel like this one, and believe me, I've had some nice and some fast cars.

John,
Four pages and nowehere.
eBay type sales are not accepted on this site, and while I feel for you John, I am closing this thread for the obvious reasons.
Feel free to start another thread once you have a selling price, then take it from there.
;)
Mike.
