LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky's bourbon industry is getting international recognition from National Geographic.
The Web site just named Kentucky's Bourbon Trail Craft Tour one of its "Top 10 Spring Trips."
The seven distilleries on the tour produce about 95 percent of the world's bourbon.
The travel writers suggest taking three days to visit all seven, plus a few micro-distilleries on the tour.
The "don't miss" according to National Geographic? The chocolate-covered bourbon balls - found at most stops.
