Has anyone installed one of these on their MM? I have been thinking about doing this on some of the interior areas i.e. on the armrests, as an accent. I don't think I want to do the whole dash ( the kits have 26 pcs. ) but maybe just a few areas as mentioned above to accent. I would appreciate any input you may have.

I have never seen carbon fiber used in a MM yet. I did see however see a MM with a complete wood package. It had the steering wheel out of a Town Car and had wood inlays in the dash and doors. It kind of took away from the sporty look of the MM.

I'd give them a call and see if they could send you a couple of jpegs with samples of each (also to check the return policy)

If you click on the wood samples it shows the carbon fiber and brushed aluminum also but the picture quality isn't that good. You can call and most dealers offer to send free sample chips. The place TAF references only sells the complete kit. It costs $317 for the carbon fiber. I've found a few others who break the kit up so if you only want a particular area i.e. dash only, armrests only etc. you can purchase that and it won't cost as much. Good luck, I'm still doing some more research on this myself.

Could you please share where you've ... found the few others who break the kit up ....

*My search if for door panel inserts ( the dot-matrix sections on the Marauder ).

From looking at the diagram of the kit it appears to be missing the main dash panel trim pieces. These are the two pieces 1- Right side of steering wheel with the pedal adjuatment and TC switch and 2 - the long trim panel that houses the 2003 clock.

It might look strange not to have this piece match.

Is this part avail?

i think the brushed alum, would compliment the shiney plastic carbon fibre imitaion we have running lengthwise across our dash already..

I have been looking for carbon fiber for my MM for quite some time. I would want to do the two pieces on the dash, (one to the left of the steering wheel and one to the right) and the long pieces (1) on each door panel. I don't want to overdo the look. It will probably take someone on the net to come up with solution. Maybe someone could overlay the original equip.faux carbon fiber with the real thing?

I e-mailed Exoticwooddash.com and asked for a few pics. I'm not sure what kind of car it is,.. but I like the brushed aluminum.
