While changing my spark plugs today I happened to glance down my zip tube to see this!

"That can't be factory" I thought to myself. So, I removed it.

It's just made out of some sheet metal with some relief cuts in it.

Big mistake taking it out. Expermintal gadget from Ford. Good for 25.0215 HP. Now your MM will not run good.

No, no, no. You're all wrong. That's the compressor wheel from one of those electric superchargers that adds a ton of torque. My buddy with a Civic has one and his car is da' BOMB.

That's a Binford X3500 Cheese Shredder. It minces the cheese real small so the DTR mice can scroll up the exercise wheel that's in your engine. :D

You'll get crappy gas mileage if you remove that! Leave the magnet on your fuel filter too!

Was in Popular Mechanics a couple of years ago. Increases power (~4 hp) and fuel efficiency (~ 0.8 mpg) by inducing "helicoidal - laminar flow."
