Well today park the car and borrowed my sister SUV for some heavy duty stuff, came back parked behind the marauder and notice oil on my driver side rear tire went to inspect a little more and my whole inside tire was wet with oil. Took it to the back and took off the tire was kind of shock at just how much oil has leak; here's a few pictures

Some info couple months ago my brake light came on. did some research on here and bought some new brake pads and brake fluid when I took off the old brake pads they still had a good amount of life left on them, I went ahead and swapped them out anyways. So here I am today with a leak that is inside he caliper it seems. Just trying to get pointed in the right way as to what could the problem before I do anything else. It's going to sit for the next two days because I'm headed up to the gf for the weekend

Thanks in advance for any help

Are you sure it's brake fluid?

It looks like gear oil.

Definitely looks like gear oil to me. Seal could be going or gone. Mine wasn't that bad but it was my seal. Had my rear driver tire with oil like yours. I just went through what you're going through like a month ago. Good time to upgrade gears etc while it'll be apart.

But if its NOT gear oil then I duno. Could be brakes like you mentioned

What they said, looks like a bad bearing seal.

Wonder if he's getting noise from the rear end, axle and bearing could be shot.

Looks like gear oil, I'd check your axle seal.

That's gear oil,if that was brake fluid your master cylinder would be dry .thats a lot of fluid.pull the plug on the diff. Gotta be pretty low .
