I assume your headlights are not working?

I can fix your old one.

Will guarantee the repair for as long as the car is running.

PM me.

This is the route to go. ^^^^^^

Replacing with another OEM unit WILL NOT resolve the problems you're most likely having. Having an LCM retrofitted with an HD relay WILL.

I have often wondered about the replacement LCM from FORD?? I had mine replaced under warranty in 2005........8 years later it's still working??

My failure was the turn signals not headlights though!!

Since it has lasted a long time I just figgered the replacement was an improved version......Jim??

There have been some improvements to the LCM for functionality and features. They still have the same undersized headlight relay which will go bad again. The longer you use your headlights, the faster the relay contacts will burn up.

I can vouch that the new Ford ones aren't much better. Last one we sold it came back a few months later and was replaced again under warranty. The internal relay for the headlights is just too puny! The JIM fix is the way to go IMHO

Plus I guarantee the repair for as long as the car in running.

If my heavy duty relay does fail (HIGHLY UNLIKELY), I will send a new one. Takes about 30 seconds to replace.

Without having to crawl under the dash to remove the LCM, a VERY important feature for a "person of girth" such as myself...;)

Don't worry....

I've never had one fail yet!
