Thinking about pulling the card out and ordering the 3500 stall. I've never dropped the trans in the MM before so I'm wondering how hard would it be to swap the TCs on my own.
And should I JMod while the trans is already getting a new stall or the jmod won't be needed?

Having a higher stall may soften the shifts a little. The J-mod is highly recommended whether stock or modified.
If you can change the transmission on a Mustang, you can do it on the MM. I know some have done it on the ground, but I would urge you to find a friend with a lift and a proper transmission jack.

You will learn and use MANY NEW WORDS trying to remove the trans support cross member laying on your back!!:argue::argue: :mad2: :cool4:
Some have done it but the guys who rebuilt my trans said it took them over an hour with heating, prying and cussing to get it down!!:(
Good Luck!!

The cross member is a real bish especially if it's never been taken down before.
