I'm just starting my eaton swap and my first task it to relocate the maf wiring harness. I've got both inner fenders out and I've got all the wires exposed on the front of the car Goin.g to the passenger side. Does the maf harness go through the harness on the drivers side or the passenger? I just want to get it out so I can re loom it to the right spot. I feel like I'm doing waaayyy more work then I need to.

Where will the MAF be located?
That is the side the harness needs to go to.

Well it is on the drivers side now. But it needs to be on the passenger side to plug into the maf housing. Or do I just cut it where it is and extend new wires around the back of the motor?

I guess I need to know how and where to extend the maf wires around the front with all the other ones? What I've been trying to do is dig it out and figure out where it starts and extend from there. But I'm finding out in order to do that ill be opening up my entire harness. I may sound as dumb as a box of rocks but I swear I'm not. I just need a little advice.

That is what I'd do.

Inner fenders out? Yeah, you went WAY to far.
Cut the wires and run them in the channel above the radiator and out the other side. If your using a Lighting IAT, just run the middle four over. The two outer grey wires get extended and run up to the drivers side fuel injector harness and to the back for the IAT2.

I extended my MAF and IAT1 wires across the radiator, like was mentioned.

Got it. I tried to dig it out of the wrong side of the harness. Over thought it and messed up. I understand how to do it. Thanks fellas. Coincidentaly, with the inner fender out it is extremely easy to work on the motor. I stood inside the fender the whole time.
