Has anyone painted their front oem license plate frame? Cons? Flaking?

Mine is faded and could look better.

Clean it really really good, use plastic adhesion promoter first then your color choice.

I've never even thought about this. Looks good, nice little detail, and great looking car.

I sanded mine down to get rid of the texture then had it painted body color.

I cleaned mine really well then used adhesion promoter it turned out really good and havent had any issues. I went with a semi-gloss black

I don't have one, don't like em, but after seeing your car I'm seriously considering it now. And the Hood is reall growing on me as well now that I've seen it a fellow DTR.
