...thought I'd post here while looking around online.
Looking to buy a 3500 stall.
Pm me with a price if you do.
Don't need a super crazy beefed up drag stall. This MM is a daily street car
That's a high stall for a daily driven street car.
Check out Precision Industries.
They have a 5 year warranty with their converters too.

Ha! That's great Jim! Even on their home page it says their converters decrease trans temps.

I believe that PI also will do one stall change on a convertor after you buy it.

I agree. ^^^^^^^^^^^
My 3000 stall is on the edge of being too much.

EXACTLY!!!
Most people post up get these high stalls!!! But these are people who drag race their cars and that works fine for THEM! Keep in mind everyone here is not a drag racer. Take your blinders off.
If your car is a DAILY DRIVEN STREET CAR then most likely you will not be happy with a higher stall.
That's why I told the OP to give them a call and discuss what they're looking for.

Has the tune been tweaked after the stall?

I will call them. Not going against what you said but as everything else there are mixed reviews about stalls. Some say 3500 is way to go. Some hate it. Some say with tweaking its good as normal till you hit the go pedal.
I'm definitely in between. But I will make the right choice for my likes and driving. Thanks for the info as always

I just sent mine for a restall from 3800-4k. My car is not a daily, however i do drive it everywhere on weekends including 600 mile round trips to visit my parents. City economy isnt that good but no change in the highway.

I went against all the recomendations except for my tuner Lonnie Doll.
He suggested a triple plate 36-3800 custom from his company BOC.
I couldnt be happier with how tame it feels, not lazy off the line with light throttle, great mileage both city and highway.
The only member to sample my car in that state was yjmud, maybe he can weigh in and offer up his evaluation.

Yes, Mr. Norm's dyno tune. Picked up an extra 100ftlb torque at just 2400 rpm. Being NA like me, but without as much torque to get you going, I truly think you will dislike a 3500 stall.

My 3500 PI seems just about perfect and I really don't drag race it. I'm not saying 3000 would be terrible.

You are also boosted.
A 3500 converter will feel different in a car that's NA vs S/C, also stock gears vs 4.10s. There is a happy medium but it's trial and error to find it.

Been running a PI 3500 stall for quite a few years. Its a daily driven car including some very lite trailer duty. No problems at all. I do have 4 10 gears and a tune. Car feels great and Im a super picky person. Car still get 23 mpg on a trip. I will be honest I hated it till I got a tune in the car that worked good. Been great since then.
