Mr.MRder

Hello all. My name is Joao (Sho-waw- or translated, it's John) and I live in Alabama. I have been a short time reader here and I appreciate all the useful articles and inputs about these cars. Very informative site!
I always thought the Marauders were nice cars and wanted to own one for a long time, but they were too expensive!
Here's my story. A little while ago, I was looking to buy a car to flip over and start my own side business with the extra profit. One monday I went with my wife to a car auction where I saw this black, relatively low mileage 03 MM, sitting among other cars.
I told my wife, "Heey, check that thing out! That's a very rare car there, you don't see them around often!" and as I got closer and turned the engine on, and looked around the body etc, I decided it was, sadly, time to depart ways, and check at other uglier cheaper imports on the lot. I just assumed this black Marauder was way over my budget.
Later on, unable to find anything that would pick my interest I got to talk with an employee there, and I mentioned to him out of curiosity how much they were asking for the Marauder, and he told me that that Marauder belonged to a dealer who bought it and later on found it to have a rebuilt title (I was told car had a small frontal impact) and he didn't want it anymore and put it back for sale (the dealer only sells high performance, expensive cars with clear/clean titles), and so that got my interest going, as they were asking below 5k for it.
The next morning I went to take it for a ride, checked the VIN number and its story behind, and understandably, I realized that it wasn't in perfect condition or anything like that, (but surprisingly engine and trans were in great shape) and that I would have to put work on it, but I still went ahead and bought it as I thought it was worth fixing it up.
"Mr.Mrder", as I think I will call it, needed (and still needs) repairs, like getting new upper arm controls, new sway bars, fog lights, rotors and brakes, etc, which I am working to get them fixed.
Sometimes I play jokes with my wife and tell her that I won't sell it ever!(the more I fix it the more I like it) :D It's the best car I have had in a long time and as a bonus other motorists respect the traffic laws when they see it. But it's a car in the end of things, and there are more important things in life.
Eventually if I end up selling it I would like to buy another one just like it, and I won't care if it needs repairs or has high mileage, just as long as I get another MM :D So, if you got a beated up MM let me know!!
Anyways, that's my intro and our short story.
