Has anyone experience an electric current running along their driver side valve cover? Something keeps draining my battery while its not running, it starts up fine though, just tired of jump starting it. Any suggestions?

What does your valve cover have to do with draining the battery?

If you have a power drain then you need to have a parasitic drain check done.

I am guessing he is using a clamp meter and sees a current draw on the harness on that side.
Just a guess.

You need to isolate the problem with a DVOM, it is most likely as simple as a stuck relay, what is the current draw on the system?

I can actually feel it when slightly touching the valve cover on the driver's side!

Something is WRONG! You shouldn't feel anything... especially electrical current.
Check all the connections and harnesses, look for any frayed, worn or burnt spots on the harnesses. Check all the grounds, making sure they are clean and tight.

There was a post not long ago about the ground wires on these cars showing their age. Well I just swapped engines in my Marauder, and had to splice the front ground wire that bolts onto the bottom of the passenger side valve cover. When peeling back the electrical tape, I noticed that sick looking burn't orange colored wire that comes with shorting or overheating. May want to check this. Just my.02 cents

Thanks, any $ .02 is better than none, time to do some ground checking this weekend, well, BEFORE the St. Patty Day festivities start!
