ac/heat damper door test??

what is the test to see if the door is working?
i read in an old post it was cold auto off. well, there is no cold button:confused:
i hit the ac, auto, off it just shuts the system off:confused:
should there be a pause between pushing the buttons?

the blower does transition from floor to vent to defrost just fine.

I assume your referring to the EATC self-test?


The interior must be between 40 & 90 degrees for the test to properly run
Press OFF and FLOOR buttons simultaneously, then press the AUTOMATIC button within 2 seconds
The display will show a tracer pulse going around the center of the window
The test can run as long as 30 seconds
Record any DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) displayed
