Carpet on the doors coming off

You guys use anything special to re-adhere the carpet to the door panels? Mine are coming loose.

3M spray adhesive, or similar. Spray an even coat on both surfaces, let dry for a minute, then smooth the carpet back on. There are several spray adhesives, just make sure you get one for carpet/padding.

Is that how you get it to come loose. I want mine to start to come off so I can replace it with some nice maroon carpet or some good ol' fashion ...Pleather...:banana:
