has anyone thought of doing a race-off and crowning a top dog?
I mean with all of the competitive big heads on here that talk the talk push the pedal to walk the walk. It's always "the slower color" talk and who's done what. Why not take to the track at these big meets that go down to show and prove and post it up. SC & NA See what car is really putting on for their color. Just about every color is boosted on here right.

There wasn't any drag racing at MV-9 or MV-10.

And the poster of this thread just joined the site in September 2012. So he hasn't attended a Marauderville yet.

If this was to me I wasn't "getting at" anything just gave my opinion on something :beer: And I've never been to a MV so I don't know what goes on, and I've never read of racing at one. One year I may attend when my ride is to my liking

I know how you feel. Last year it was in my back yard and had just got my ride a couple a few months earlier and it wasnt the way i wanted. I didn't feel like I was ready for an event plus too busy at work. Now i regret not going. Whatever we do someone's is always better looking, more mods, faster etc.
This year I'm learning to hit the hold button at the shop and smell the rubber:beer:

NA, SC, Turbos, Chebbies, Fords, Mercs, Mopars; good stuff.

Generally the ones who run their mouths won't put up anything other than a Coke or something for a race, if I want to run for cred, there will either be 5k+ on the line or titles. I am no means the fastest, but I am faster than 99.9% of the loudmouths.............:shake:

Im down for a $1k race but not 5k. Thats what grudge cars are for.
