When I was purchasing a lot of my parts I came across a griffin intercooler for the eaton. I picked it up figuring it would be just as good if not a little better than the stock Intercooler. Anyone using one? I recently heard some bad things about them. (After my purchase) like super high iat temps. But there are several generation of this Intercooler I guess. The early ones are bad and the later are good. Opinions?

This griffin unit won't work. Is anybody willing to sell me a stock eaton intercooler. Don't really care about price at this point. I need it to put my car together.

It's too long. I can't get the manifold adaptor to sit tight to the lower intake. I have the right one. It just doesn't fit at all. If I mount it as far back as the bolts will let it, then the blower won't sit flush on the lower intake.

I would love to post pics but for the life of me I can't figure out how to upload pics from my phone. I don't have a working computer currently. I'm gonna return it to the sender and I've bought a low mile stock intercooler.

These are pics of it mounted to the blower. The holes Line up good.

This is a pic of the manifold bolted up at tight as I can get it without cranking on the bolts that's a heavy 1/4 inch

And this is what happens when i mount the I/c as far back as possible.

For anyone else that does a swap...stick with stock as far as the the intercooler goes. Lesson learned 450 bucks later
